The Scary Months of May and June

First you hear your most beloved son has Cancer and your heart stops, then it starts to pound very hard as if it is trying to leave your body as you search for a plan, a course of action, a weapon of mass destruction to kill the cancer so it will never touch your family again. He goes in for surgery and you say your Rosary over and over again as if you say it enough or with enough faith you can surely save him. You wait 5 days, 10 days then you get the call. The node was definitely Cancer and we think we got it all, but we did find another spot but this type of Cancer has a high rate of cure and with some chemotherapy we are feeling very positive. So we start Chemo, the third day after chemo is the worst, he is tired and sick but insists on going to work. He is strong, he is a man but he is still my baby boy.
